I have spent over 30 years working on this family history, and still this is a work in progress. So keep checking
back. Recently I found where the Berks family lived in Germany, which I thought would be near to impossible. I have read the microfilms of Catholic
Church records and found Berks spelled Bercks, Berx, Berghs, and Berg. You will find copies of the church records included. There are also
copies of Hoffmann's German church records.

There are over 2000 pictures and documents in this site so far, so click on each individual's Scrapbook to see them. Some of them can take a while to download, so be patient if you do not have a broadband
